Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy is a Canadian actor and singer from Canada. She is most known for her role on the American television show Law & Order, on which she played the prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three seasons, and Crossing Jordan, on which she was the main character, Jordan Cavanaugh, for six seasons. She also appeared as acting in movies such as RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted and independent films Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy, John's father was a meat and marketing sales/marketing executive. The position required significant travel and meant that the family was required to relocate frequently. Maxine Hernnessy, Maxine's mom and secretary, died in 1982. Eleanor her paternal grandmother from Kitchener (Ontario) took part in the raising of her daughter. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline is her identical twin sister and is a journalist from Canada and host. Hennessy's ancestral ancestry includes Irish, French, Swedish and Italian descent on her father's and most Ukrainian Roma on her mother's. She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School and graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute in Kitchener, Ontario and busked in the Toronto subway. Hennessy's sister and she made their acting debut as twin callgirls on 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, who was the actress who was ultimately chosen for the part, claimed she was selected to play Dana Scully in The X-Files. She portrayed the role for three seasons, and then being removed from the show as an actress in 1996.
