Alyson Lee Hannigan

Alyson Lee Hanigan was born 24 March 1974. Hannigan is an American actress and host on television. Her credits include Willow Rosenberg (1997-1903) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lily Aldrin (2006), for which she received a People's Choice Award (2009) and Michelle Flaherty (99-2012). Hannigan hosts Penn Teller: Fool Us since 2016. Teller the Fool us has been running since 2016. Hannigan is also Claire Clancy, an animated character from Fancy Nick (2018-2018). Hannigan is the sole daughter of Emilie (Posner) Haas (a real estate agent) and Alan Hannigan (a Teamsters worker). Hannigan's mother, who's Jewish as well, is Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. At the age of 11, she moved to Hollywood with her mother. Her father was an agent for casting in Santa Barbara while she was there. She auditioned. After graduation from high school she went to California State University Northridge. In Northridge she was an active member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and also earned a psychology degree. Hannigan's first appearance on film was in the film My Stepmother Is an Alien in 1988. Seth Green was also one of her co-stars. He was later her co-star on Buffy. She was first seen in TV in 1989, when she was cast as an actress on ABC's sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan was her How I Met Your Mother actor, was the age of a teenager when Hannigan became a babysitter to the kids of Bob Saget. Hannigan was later cast to play Willow Rosenberg, Buffy Summers her best friend on the show on TV Buffy the Vampire Slayer In 1997, she received the attention of the entire nation. She also supervised Bob Saget's kids on the television series How I Met Your Mom. Angel permitted her to play Willow's character for a few episodes.
