Aaron Jeffery
The Logie
Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. His role
includes Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He
also played the role of Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth. Born in
Howick, Auckland, Jeffery moved to Australia at the age of 17 and studied
acting at NIDA. After graduating in 1993 from NIDA and NIDA, he started his
television career with the children's programme Ship to Shore. Jeffery is
best-known for his character Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. The show ended in
the year 2008. He was also a part of the third season of Outrageous Fortune, a
New Zealand drama. Jeffery was in the show Underbelly: Badness as Frank. The
filming ended on the 22nd of June. The casting announcement for Neighbours'
Bradley Fox was released three days later. It was discovered in October that
Jeffery was assigned to be an Wentworth corrections officer. Bevan Lee's show
Between Two Worlds starred Jeffery. In April 2021 it was announced that Jeffery
was being chosen to be a part of the new Netflix thriller Pieces of Her, which
is based on the Karin Slaughter novel of the identical title. In 2004 and 2007,
Jeffery won the Silver Logie award for the Most Popular actor in a Drama Series
for his role on McLeod's Daughters.
