Kathleen Robertson Bio

Robertson changed from acting to screenwriting in the decade of 2010. Robertson completed the Writers Guild's Showrunners Training Program in 2015. She was guided and mentored by John Wells, former president of WGA West. She began to adapt The Possibilities in 2017, Kaui Hart Hemmings' follow-up novel to The Descendents. It is about a grieving Colorado mother whose son was killed in a snow avalanche. The mother is then able to form an alliance with a mysterious young girl. Based on Chris Cleave's novel, Little Bee, she created a feature-length drama. Julia Roberts starred in the film. Swimming With Sharks was her first show. It's based on the 1994 Hollywood comedy film. Quibi will debut the series in 2020. Star was also her comedy-drama pilot, Your Time Is Up For Lifetime. Christina Applegate was involved in the project as well. From 1997 until 1999, Robertson was in a relationship with Gregg Araki, an independent filmmaker. Robertson has been engaged to Chris Cowles, a film producer, since 2004. On the 9th of July 2008, she was born William Robert Cowles (her first child), at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. Robertson was born in October 2016 to Bennett her second child.
