Lori Loughlin Bio

Lori Loughlin is an American actress, who was born in New York City on July 28th, 1964. Prior to becoming an actress, she worked as an elementary lifeguard. When she was 12 years old she started her modeling career in print. She worked as a TV and print model during her teens. At the age of 15, she was cast in the role of Jody Travis, a aspiring dancer. In the years 1980-83 she was cast in a variety of roles. Her most famous role is Rebecca Donalson-Katsopolis (1987) in which she played from 1988 to 1995. Summerland (2004) was co-created with her and produced by her. She also was Ava Gregory. She also appeared alongside Don Johnson and Kay Panabaker as Gelsey Alexander moondance Alexander (2007). Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli were among dozens of people charged by the FBI on March 12th 2019, 2019. The charges were related to a major college admissions fraud scheme. The indictment said that the couple made a $500,000 sham donation to the Key Worldwide Foundation so that the University of Southern California admissions committee was convinced that their daughters would be part of the women's rowing team if they were accepted. But none of the girls were ever trained in the sport , nor did they have any intention of doing so. Loughlin was detained on the 13th of March by Federal authorities in Los Angeles. She is accused of being a part of an elaborate college bribery scheme worth millions of dollars. Loughlin was granted bail of $1 million when she appeared before Los Angeles Federal Court. Loughlin along with her husband also gave their passports in their April 3rd, 2019 appearance in Boston Federal Court. They also waived the right to an initial hearing. Loughlin Giannulli, Loughlin and others were found guilty in the month of May, 2020. Giannulli and Loughlin are scheduled for a sentence in the month of August, 2020. The judge could impose the combination of prison term, community service, or fines. Following her arrest, Loughlin was barred from being able to go back to Fuller House.
